Band Taboos

A band should never…

  1. Obtain/Acquire equipment by themselves
  2. Set up equipment by themselves
  3. Rely on externally provided instruments too much (especially for guitars)
  4. Play songs consecutively, take a break between songs
  5. Rely on song sheets for lyrics and chords, keyword is MEMORISE.
  6. Depend on any event’s PA crew for the specific sound they need; adjust your sound before performance.
  7. Have any power struggle. Doh.
  8. Work up the audience using words alone. Music speaks more than a thousand words.
  9. Be working individualistically. Every member must co-operate.
  10. Give up on a show just before the performance. Persevere. (:

The story of Brownian and how it got along till now.

Perfect harmony ever since they started rollin’ and I came along.
